The Roadmap to Redesign (R2R): Academic Practices A configuration of academic practices--virtual collaborations of experienced institutional teams drawn from the Program in Course Redesign--has been established to serve as a source of redesign expertise in four disciplines: precalculus mathematics, psychology, Spanish and statistics. Each practice has created a repository of research-based course materials organized by course topics to be used by other institutions in the redesign process. Precalculus Mathematics Core institutions include Rio Salado College, The University of Alabama, University of Idaho and Virginia Tech. Psychology Core institutions include University of Dayton, The University of New Mexico and University of Southern Maine. Spanish Core institutions include Portland State University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Statistics Core institutions include Carnegie Mellon University, The Ohio State University and Penn State University.
