Sustainability University at Buffalo (SUNY) Will the redesign be sustained now that the grant period is over? The redesign of the course is sustainable; there is no desire within the department to return to the traditional design. In fact, future changes being discussed in the department concern further implementation of redesign aspects that have not yet been implemented. In addition, the redesign methodology is being applied to other courses within the department. The use of ULAs rather than GTAs is especially beneficial because it is difficult to find enough well-qualified graduate students to serve as teaching assistants.
