Sustainability University of Southern Maine Will the redesign be sustained now that the grant period is over? USM’s team is convinced that its efforts are clearly sustainable, primarily because of the demonstrated effectiveness of the redesign techniques. All faculty involved in the redesign will continue to take advantage of computers to assist their students. Since their colleagues within the department, in other departments on campus, at other campuses within the University of Maine System, and elsewhere are already involved in this project, the team expects that the model will continue to grow and expand.
